About the Role
Magnum Resources, part of the Sara Group’s Industrial Automation vertical, is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to grow business for our textile machinery range. The role is based in West India and covers a territory spanning West, Central and North India. You will work directly with garment dyeing, washing, denim, laundry and textile finishing units — a field-facing technical sales role for someone equally comfortable on the shop floor and across the table from a factory owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and business opportunities for our machine range.
- Engage with garment dyeing, washing, denim, laundry and textile finishing units.
- Conduct technical presentations, customer visits and machine trials.
- Manage the sales pipeline — leads, quotations and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with technical teams on trials and proposals.
- Build strong relationships across owner, production, technical and purchase teams.
- Track market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in sales and business development.
- B2B or technical sales experience preferred.
- B.Tech / B.E., Diploma or Graduate in Textile, Chemical, Mechanical or a related field.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the West, Central and North India territory.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with technical teams to translate customer requirements into workable proposals.
