AgniKul Cosmos team on the successful completion of Mission 01 of Agnibaan SOrTeD from India’s first and only private launchpad at SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota!

India made history in the space sector end of May 2024, with the first launch from a private launchpad of the country’s second privately built rocket- Agnibaan; and the first using a combination of gas and liquid fuel. This launch has immense significance as the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has yet to launch a semi-cryogenic engine into space, in which a mix of liquid and gas is used as a propellant.
